Ah Loriann, but do the heads still have the brains in them? That's the tasty part .... ;D

Strange because the nesting pair at the St Lawrence site here in Mississauga leave the heads everywhere around the parking lot, The employees are forever finding them in the parking lot where they leave their cars. Maybe poop-hawks don't have tasty heads? dunno. ???

Had a friend that I used to house sit for and he had a pool. Spent many an afternoon yelling at the grackles who were dive-bombing the surface, trying to drop their bombs of poop. Felt so smug and self-righteous when I was able to to ward them off. Little victories, take em where we can get em.

The gifts vanished like trash, eggshells and eggs from the nestledge. Not sure where they dump stuff but it must be a really big pile after all these years. I keep thinking its the river, songbirds will dump little poo-packets from their chicks in swimming pools in the spring .... ;)
The Peregrine Chick:
1545 hrs (local) - Princess is facing into the wind now and her eyes are closed. She is in fact getting less "fluffed-up" than the cam is getting bounced in the wind. It is suppose to drop off later this afternoon/evening and shift to the west so hopefully the Hotel will do its job and provide some shelter tomorrow.
