carly:
Three cheers for the revised forecast!!   ;D ;D ;D

The Peregrine Chick:
1610 hrs - its raining again and our bird is getting a little fluffed by the wind.  Not much and not often, but the wind has shifted.

Environment Canada is reporting that it is 4c with winds NW 39 km/h, gusting to 52 km/h.  The snow that was forecasted for tonight has been cancelled, now its that the rain will end this evening but it will remain cloudy.  Winds to remain NW 40 km/h, gusting to 60 km/h until about midnight when the wind is to drop to light (< 15 km/h).  Low tonight -4c.

Tomorrow revised: Sunny with cloudy periods.  High 5c.  UV 6+
(i.e., the birds will be able to dry out)

bev.:
thanks TPC .

they usually are within  sight range. At least at Edmonton they are and I am sure here also.  I f one really wants relieved they will call.

The Peregrine Chick:

--- End quote ---

Cold won't.  Wet won't.  Wet & cold, I don't think so.  They are pretty smart birds, if they are at that point where they have to get dry, they should trade off.  I would be surprised if the other adult wasn't sitting right across the street from the ledge, well within in talking range.  Trey and Princess have been through this before - last year many times.  This year, this is the first, and hopefully there won't be many more ...

allikat:
I feel terrible for Trey at the moment.  He looks drenched!
TPC...will the colder temperature affect the wet adults at all?
