Radisson - 2009 / Trey & Princess
The Peregrine Chick:
1200 hrs (local) - Princess is on the nest and cross-ways to the wind. Its fluffing her feathers along her back and sometimes the swirlies giver her a definite "push" but she's tucked up in the north corner so she's got as much cover as is available on the ledge. Mostly she's had her face planted in the gravel and occasionally looks around, but she's keeping pretty flat.
Taken in the last 5 minutes ...

Especially when it's only 3 degrees and the "normal" temperatures are a high of 20 degrees and a low of 3.

True, the wind is not good - but at least there's much less rain & no snow - seems a 'perfect' day is REALLY hard to come by around here!!! :-\

Yikes, they changed that forcast quick! :o - but it's BETTER so that's ok!! ;D
