Radisson - 2009 / Trey & Princess

I figured lunch would be served soon...the feeding about hour + ago was short due to the wind I think..Doesn't seem to be gusting anymore which is great and the sun is out!!!

Lunch time , Dad has brought food and is feeding em immediately.

Sun must be warm for the little chicks...Mom keeps checking on them - toooo cute!

The sun is definately out in the Peg and mom seems not to be quite so velcored to the chicks lol

Mom is doing some preening a bit lol now she is looking at the sqirmying chicks, back to preening.  Looking at the chicks again lol back to some preening.  The chicks want under mom and mom is doing her own thing, wonder if she is thinking of taking a break?

Yes, unfortunately it is windy today and it's blowing the wrong way for our falcons...  The feeding was interesting, Trey had a very small bird for the chicks.  I guess they just know when it's too windy and a little chilly for the chicks to be exposed for too long.  Their meal was short and sweet.  I guess there will just be more smaller feedings today until the wind shifts or diminishes (I hope).

wow I suddenly ended up on a screen with lots of observations on the morning feeding( Sunday), and comments as to which bird was on the nest - thanks.  I'll have to work on getting to the right place.  Happy watching!!

Princess just came back to cover the squirmy chicks.  It must be windy there because the camera is shaking and giving me a headache if I stare too long.

Princess just did a quick feed and then flew off with a small morsel for herself.  The chicks barely stood still in the wind while Mom put food in the open beaks.  Trey came in to cover the chicks within seconds, such a good Dad.
