Baffled:
Lunch time! Something black and white and small, with a flash of yellow. Not sure what.
Princess is ensuring that everyone is getting a fair share.
Chicks are now adept at staying upright. Crops are expanding.
Those chicks are sooooo cute as they eat their raw dead bird!

Had a great view of the chicks this morning.......had to chick sit until a parent came back....great to be retired!!!!..they are getting so big!!!!

I believe Princes is partially covering the chicks. They are peeking out in front.
Princess is facing 6 with tail out of box. seems a calmer day today.

It's Princess, covering the chicks now, who was gnawing the box. She's got some lighter coloring on her head; Trey's one shade of dark grey. Also Princess's helmet stripe (forgot the technical term for it), black under her eyes is pointy while Trey's is more round. :)

Are they chewing on that tray to sharpen their beak or are they seeing a reflection in the plastic?
