It's my first post here (so I hope I'm doing this properly).

I truly enjoy reading your comment and updates. My computer is on its last legs and won't let me view the little family so I've been depending on the posts for my updates.

Fortunately I can check in during the day at work - if I hadn't had an appointment after work I think I would have been tempted to stay to see how everyone made out during the rain.

4:30pm Wpg time. Rain, thunder, lightning, but the wind seems to have settled down. Only had about 5 minutes of bad gusts.
My power was out for an hour - just found out it had nothing to do with the storm. ( Incompetent building managers who forget to send round notices.)
Bad bunny is still on the balcony, so not so bad.

The hotel must be sheltering the nestbox from the worst of the storm as it looks pretty tranquil there.  I wonder if Princess knows that one of the little guys is peeking out from under her back end

A severe thunderstorm warning has now been issued for Winnipeg.  In West Winnipeg right now there are gusting winds, rain and lots of thunder.  Princess has been looking around, perhaps aware that some nasty weather is headed her way.

The sky is getting dark and the weather radar shows a line of storms moving our way from the northwest, no weather warning though.  Princess has great timing as she is feeding the chicks and they will be all fed and sleepy and ready to be tucked up before any bad weather appears.

chicklets are alone and all huddled together.
Not to worry parents will be nearby. they know when to cover and when to let them get some air.

The cotton ball is alone again, but it doesn't look so nice out anymore. At least from what I can tell.

Dad brought some nibbly's and Mom is feeding it to the chicks! Granted can't see the chicks cause mom is in front of em lol  Hmmm Mom go to look for more?  Looks like Dad is near the chicks at the moment. Something has his attention,he's looking up and all around.

It is 19C out in Winnipeg right now so no wonder the chicks are left on their own for a big. One chick just stretched it's leg, oh now it's hidden lol
