Yo Alli, air outs, will giggle forever about that. And that guys is a little joke between me and allikat, directed at no one but ourselves. A moment thing.
As for the restaurant thing, well guys, we were discussing where to go for a bite. First thought, Boston Pizza. Then 10 minutes later, after naming a hundred or so places, we both just went - Boston Pizza.
Tons of places here in Winnipeg, so many of them great, but we always seem to go back to what we know and where we had fun.
Fantastic recap of the day allikat, ya said it well :-*

Hey folks,
Sorry, I'm a little behind on the air quality check.
What a beautiful day spent with beautiful company!
Rolled into the parking lot to find bccs already comfy in her lawnchair facing the Radisson.
It started off a little slow until I turned around to face the sun...NOT a great idea on my part as I am now RED!
Anyway...I turned the chair around, looked up and saw our boy....and yes we decided he was Tupper!  HELLO Tupper!!!!  And yes folks, he did turn around and look at us!   ;D
Again another few moments of silence and then Dennis drives up.  I think I'm going to have to put in a stunt double for myself so I don't get all glossy eyed when I meet all these wonderful people.   ;D
As bccs wrote, Dennis shows up, and the birdies come out to play!
Trey was flying around with food in talon, and Vesper came in under him and then...food drops and VESPER CAUGHT IT!!!!  Wow, that was awesome!!!!!!!! :o
I'm so happy for our girl!  They are just flying around downtown Winnipeg like they own the place!
If any of you can just get a moment to watch this, you should!  Our little kids are growing up and growing up fast!
Dennis had to take off, but did give us a coupld of updates from the other side of the Hotel...what a man!!!!  :-*
So B and I decide it was time to call it a day, took quite awhile to decide where were going to eat ::), finally decided to go to BP!   :P
Between the parking lot air outs, deciding on where to eat in a city that has a million restaurants, where to park, us two are a couple of winners!  Love ya B!!!!! :-*

As B wrote earlier, we had a toast to the out of towners, shared a plate of Nachos, had more great laughs and just relaxed.
It was a grand day thanks to Bccs, Dennis and our falcons!!!
(psst...B, it was my pleasure  :-*)

Allikat, Bccs........what an afternoon!  Thanks so much for the vivid descriptions.  Watching Dennis at his "work" would have been a special treat in itself!  Thanks again!

what a great day you all had!  I'd've much rather been doing that than edging and mowing the lawn...

but I did have a beer, so perhaps when you toasted me I was part of it!  ;D

Wow, a food hand off ! That must have really been breath taking.   Thanks so much for the description bccs.  It's awesome when you just spot them out of the middle of nowhere, knowing that they were sitting there all along and watching you.  I wish I could be there to see that stuff.

I may have to go and purchase a lawn chair now for my watching here in Brandon.  Not sure they are gonna like me camping out at the top of the ramp on the parkade tho LOL.

heya bev.
Got my fingers crossed for your fledge watch. If it's anything like ours, it will be wonderful.
The food exchange - man - nothing like I had pictured beforehand. To see that piece of food just drop and the kiddie grab it in mid air - again, wow.
Lunch was nachos, w/beef, extra cheese, guacamole, salsa and sour cream. Margahritas for alli, beer for me. (Spelling mistakes are definitely mine in this post  ;D)

Oh, I am so happy for you guys to see Vesper do a food exchange. Is that not thrilling.

Now you know why I got caught up in it last year with Hope and Cassie.
Yup, I got 2 lawn chairs for tomorrow and a card board pet box , which I am praying we do not have to use.
thanks for including me in the toast. I knew I was feeling good a bit ago  ;D ;D

And next year you will be experts in spotting them like Dennis and TPC. Well maybe not as good but as you learn where they hang out , it will get easier to spot them.
and what did we have for lunch??? ;)
I am off to see the Lion King and then up at 4:45 tomorrow to get to the site.

Lawn chairs, nice touch  ;)  Definitely going on the "necessary" equipment list for next year's fledge-watch.
So Dennis, should I be expecting a cd soon??  ;D

Air quality check, well not really. Just spent a wonderful 3 or 4 hours with allikat in the parking lot.
Beautiful day, not too hot, magnificent blue sky, a bit of a breeze and great company. We sat in lawn chairs facing the Radisson ( north west ) I had spotted one falcon just before allikat rolled up, but for the next 20 minutes or so, nothing. Finally Allikiat decides to turn her chair around and face south and what does she see? A boy sitting on top of the post office bldg!! Wonder how long he was there till she spotted him? He had his back to us for a while, we discussed who we thought it could be, and finally decided is was Tupper. So allikat yells out " hello Tupper ". Darned it the little guy didn't turn around and look at us. I swear guys, that did happen. After a bit he flew off the P/O, took a swing over us, and flew to the west/north side of the Radisson.
Watching and watching and see something different.
Dennis drives up!!. You all have to know that if Dennis is around, you'll see some birdies. And sure enough, that's what happened.
First though, I introduce allikat to Dennis. Not as bad as the TPC phone call, but pretty darn close. ;D ;D. Bob took it in great stride, shook hands with her, shook hands with me and said hello Pam. I said  hello Bob, we all had a good laugh.
Dennis can spot those birds sooooo well. By the time he left, we had managed to account for all the family. The kids are hanging out on different buildings from their parents, so spotting them is a bit of a challange. But not for our Dennis - the guy is a wizzard. :-*
The best moment for me, watching Trey with food in his talons, Vesper following behind and below Trey. Trey drops the food and our girl grabs it in mid-air.  Wow-oh-wow-oh-wow. ;D
Uncle Bob had to get going. He did a swing around the hotel, saw one adult on the tower and one in the nest box. Cell phones :)
Allikat and I watched for another hour or so and then decided that we were both hungry and thirsty. So off we go to - you guessed it - Boston Pizza. Had a few drinks, some tasty food, a billion laughs, toasted our out of towners by name ( lorianne, pchemist,bc bird, bev, marie, carly and eagle. And then one final toast to those who we overlooked.)
A mighty fine day thanks alli, Dennis and our falcon family. (psst alli, next time I pay :-*)

2:20 pm, just had to go out and take a look today. One on the nest box on the west side. Not a trace of the others. Siesta time perhaps. It's a lovely day here. Nice blue skies, fluffy white clouds. Ahhhh, Manitoba. :) :)
:-*
Way to go B!!!!   :-*
