Look at that big ball of cotton in the tuppernest...like them I'm off to sleep  ;)

If it's 'streaming' video, it eats up bandwidth and can slow down the network in the company.  In a big company that uses a T1 - no problem, not even a blip well unless everyone is streaming on their desktop.  In a small office using cable which is typically 100MB connection shared with others, it can cause congestion.  If memory serves me right.  I know technology has changed alot so feel free to tell me 'i'm old and things have changed since then carly'  :P

If it's a 'refresh' cam, what you're seeing is a picture that was taken off a live stream and delivered to your desktop.

I totally hate the fact that I can't see it at work, but I sure understand why!  We're supposed to be working, folks, not staring at a camera.  They're paying us, remember?  I'm actually surprised that every company hasn't figured it out -- internet surfing at work is known to be a big time-waster.  And yes, I used to have it and I looked, but very limited.  I knew I had to go in and out fast, because our usage gets tracked -- no chance of leaving it on.  And I'd like to have it again at work; but I do understand why it gets blocked.

Don't understand how someone, anyone (IT) could see anything wrong with a Falcon webcam, they are so cute and adorable and it only last a months or so lol

Jo:
Our IT has blocked access to the Falcon Cam - That is just wrong! :'(

Fortunately I can still access this board and read your updates. :)
