Shouldn't we really thank Princess and Trey for having the courage to try again this year?  It is all about the birds.  40 years ago they were on the verge of extinction and now they are making a come back.  I never thought in my life time I would be parked in front of a computer watching chicks hatch into the world. Last year was my first and it could have turned me off but it didn't. I am here again, watching, smiling, (laughing thanks to a few names who won't be mentioned.)

Thank-you Trey and Princess for doing what you do best, being birds, the Prince and Princess of the skys.
Well said, eagle! ;D

Chicks are fed, all's well the world. If the kids start yawning again, I'm toast and will be in bed soon . ;D ;D
I see you're gone -- sleep well!:D

Dennis, I just a CBC spot on the Falcon Cam.  They also mentioned ducks nesting in the plants at 360 Main.  Did you know about that?  I walk past it every day -- how could I not notice?!!

Stories like this really bother me, tho.  They're so interesting, but I'm always worried some sociopath will go and destroy it.  Sometimes I think these thing should be kept secret!  I sure hope that guards are paying attention tonight!

...wanted to give them hearts this morning.Because today is important.

Looking at that fluffy, healthy chickpile with an unseen parent watching over seems about the best antidote to thoughts of why today is important.  These new little ones are healing us all.

Thanks, TPC, for keeping us together since last years loss, and for all you've done this season to get to today's happy sight in the ledge box.

Too funny, Trey has now returned to continue feeding the bits of the previous kill he'd left when Princess came in.  These guys seem better behaved for Dad!

Okay, so Princess was just over with a freshly caught second course.  Trey took off without worrying over feeding the last little bits.  Princess had to do a bit of defeathering there in the box, and it looked like an attentive audience watching.  Now those chicks are snatching at the food like they hadn't  eaten in hours. The little one standing behind just tried scooting his head below and between the other chicks to get a bit.  Lots of jostling and grabbing, so Princess just grabbed the remains and flew off.

And Princess returns with the main course.
