And the kids are down for the count ... Trey sitting on the vent to their right (you can just see his tail). Think he's dreading cleaning up tonight, might even let them just hang out in the left-overs ....
... oops, two of three woke to do some preening for all of 15 seconds then back to their chick-coma ...

One tried to take a foot, parent tried to take it back, parent lost! Sib jumped on his back -- "Don't do it! But I'm ready with the Heimlich if you need it!" lol

Tracy - Thank you for such a thoughtful and thorough response. I am always moved, when I have the opportunity to communicate directly with an expert, to gain their insight and understand their feeling for what they do. In this instance, because you have allowed us to glimpse into a realm otherwise removed, you've shouldered a great deal of extra work to write, moderate, respond, and manage all of us. Our "humanizing" aspect seemed one of the most consistent traits and thus I was curious to know how this impacted you and your work. Thank you again, not just for your reply, but all the work you do to assist the recovery of the peregrines.
