...it's 8:16 Wpg time, the chicks are alert & looking around - waiting for more food?  Talking amongst themselves, discussing the breakfast menu? (Wonder what mom's bringing in this time?  Pigeon?  Sparrow?  Tough crow?)

Okay, it was doing a whole lot of moving around.....Honest!  It was spanning Portage Avenue and you really got a good look or perspective of just how high this nest area really is.  MERCY! :o 8) ;D

Wow, that was fun.  Someone just took us on an early morning tour of the surrounding neighbourhood. Would that have been eye-spy? And now back to the ledge and the chick pile. ;D

Hello camera operator! We were just treated to a zoom out, a 360 degree turn around the area, and a perspective on the ledge. Now back to the chicks. Thanks, that was helpful to those of us far away.

Hi folks...

I was late logging in this morning because of Internet problems, so I missed the last of the snoozing, but was treated to a golden chick pile on log-in. Princess was off-screen. Then noticed Princess literally run from the top of the screen to the bottom - thought it might be a predator with her speed (she fast on her feet) - but then she bounced back into the screen holding a small body. Realized that Trey had landed with breakfast, down by poop alley, and caught a glimpse of his wing as he left to hunt again.

Blue-eyes, I think the time differential that you're seeing between your posts and the server clock is likely a factor of where the server is being housed, i.e. in a time zone different from your own. TPC has not forced moderation prior to post - posting is in real time - but does move or remove if improperly posted or potentially offensive.

One of the kids was just trying to yack up a pellet. Looked like a cross between a sneezing fit and hurling :o

Lovely to see the chick pile in the early morning sun.  Trey delivered food and Princess tried to feed the chicks but only one seemed the least bit interested.  I suspect that this wasn't the first breakfast. The chicks are looking great.  One of the chicks looks like it is sneezing so perhaps a pellet is going to appear soon.  :D
bccs.... it must have been a beautiful sight to see Princess in the early morning sun, thanks for the image.

If any of you are watching right now, you may notice a fluttery little shadow in the gravel at the top of the screen. That's Princess on the ledge going about her morning, getting ready for the day routine.

Walked up Smith St to work and had a lovey view of Princess on the ledge, bum facing north and having a grand old preen. Know it was her because I got my binoculars from and had a look.
What a way to start the work day. Lucky or what ;D ;D
And it's a beautiful day today, no clouds and a stunning Manitoba blue sky.
