So bccs are you doing fledge watch. I want to paired with someone that knows what is going on and you seem to know.
Hey LL. I don't think you want to be paired with me at all. I've never done one before  :o And I'm volunteering for the 4am to 6am shift.
I'm as much a rookie as you.

Morning Marie. Glad you saw the wave. Almost backed out at the last minute cause there was a police car sitting about 1/2 block away. Then I realized, hey this is downtown, what I'm about to do is really tame compared to other stuff.
Saw the parents come and go and then come again. Right over my head!!!
They were yapping about something, heard them very well. ;D
Have a good one Marie.  :)

Just like that my page refreshed and the camera is clear again. Thank you to whomever is on the controls this morning. The chicks are looking good - alert, preening, checking things out. One of the boys was sitting next to Princess for a long time and then turned like he was asking when next breakfast would arrive. His sister joined him to lend support for second breakfast (I always think of Hobbits - specifically Merry and Pippin - when saying or writing "second breakfast").

I guess if I'm going to toss my hat in the ring for name suggestions (whether Tracy wants/needs it or not), Hobbits would be a good and noble naming convention. That would give us Bilbo, Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippen as main character names; and I think Merry or Pippen is flexible enough to be female. Curious to see what Tracy has in mind for this year's crew. I thought the collective naming of last year's chicks, TLC, was a respectful way to pay them homage and a sensitive method us to reference them. The "windy" chicks from 2007 was also great.

Wow, Manitoba is either having some serious East Coast-style fog this morning or the camera is way out of focus (or perhaps I need more coffee, lol). Chicks have been shuffling around the ledge for the last half hour and the parent on duty - guessing Princess for the size of the blur - has been stock still. Until things clear, not much to report.

yikes!  no one here so I guess I'll get this started.  all dark, but I SWEAR I can see the reflection off of peregrine eyeballs.  I wish someone else were around to tell me what they think...

enjoy the early morning observations!   8)

Well, if your all going out there dressed like pylons and speed bumps, I'm going to play with the camera and the rest of us can watch yous from the comfort of the couch.  I'll be looking for you.......Liz

I'm counting on that Eye-spy!  (though probably watching from my office chair, but comfortable nonetheless).
