Those pylons are across Portage Ave. to the north almost halfway up the block.
Nothing to do with the nest ledge.

There's a bunch of buildings around here bev. Some are higher than the ledge. My office is lower than the ledge and they can see it when they sit on the edge. No worries, there's lots of options for them.

Only one still sitting on the ledge -- no, he's just jumped down to join his brother on the floor of the ledge. Sis is overseeing everything from her perch on the drain cover.

Watched the flapping and flying around earlier as nerve wrecking as it was..then fell asleep ..my husband woke me up and said one had gone,he could just see 2 in the nest...then I had my first flt to.......out of the bed ;D.......happy to see all 3 now and a little quieter.....no more babysitting for that man on mine ::)

I agree with the "yikes" -- one of them was on the ledge, FLYING from point to point along the ledge and back and forth to the drain cover. This is much too close to actual flight for my liking!

Heh..well one is flapping up a storm and running.  I know it's nerve wracking but it's really good exercise for their muscles and they need to strengthen those for flight.  Woah look at him go!

...that one boy-chick seems pretty pleased with himself, "flying" between the ledge and the drain cover -- pride goeth before a wild first flight (is he in for a surprise!!)

Sis preening on the drain pipe, and it's surprising to see the down fly when she twitches her wings. TPC has said that the female will fly last -- in the past, how has (have) the remaining chick(s) behaved when the male(s) took off into the wild blue yonder?
