Much as I hate to see the end of it, I think it probably would be best if the cam focusing on the nest ledge was ended. Interest in the falcons has been so wonderfully high -- and CBC's coverage has been great -- and it might be better to end it while interest is still there, rather than letting it just fizzle out (along the theory that it's better not to go out with a whimper . . .). Having said that, I will definitely miss the possibility of seeing one of the falcons perched there.

every year I go through this withdraw. and every year it doesn't get easier :'( I will look forward to any updates on the birds. Where do they go now while they are still so young? Don't they hang around downtown for awhile?

This is my last post for the next while. We are heading out on a camping trip and the main idea is to get back to nature and leave all electronic toys at home ..(the exceptions being a radio and a cell phone..used sparingly). I am looking forward to spotting bald eagles, fox, deer etc :) 8)...not looking forward to bear, raccoon or skunk :P
Let me end by thanking all of you for making the past month so enjoyable...yup I joined the forum on June 12th. Your dedication to our falcons is unbelievably amazing.....your postings and photos ....incredible. All of you ... too many to name....have done such a great job You have become friends and I will miss our daily encounters. :'(
I hoped to catch a final sighting of our chicks today but it was not to be. I am just so thankful that they are progressing so well.
Have a wonderful summer...keep an eye on our chicks, mum and dad. I'm sure they'll still be around on my return. :'( :-* :-*

About 7:30 two landed on the roof of Citi Place. I didn't get a good look at them though.
