Radisson - 2010 / Ivy & Princess

Linder:
I was fortunate to see Isis put in the nest box from the street today. It was very obvious from street level because Princess and Ivy were very active in the air. Ivy actually got off his perch and was circling the roof, certainly not like last time when they were banded and he did nothing. Both were very vocal and flying around. Saw Isis from the box jump on the edge of the box give her wings a flap or two and then she was air born. A great aerial show happened after that and saw three falcons circling and actually in the next few minutes was able to count five that I saw. So hard when they are on the move but what a great time.

You are so right Allikat, what a time last year watching them from the parking lot, the aerials were fanastic. I was telling Cooper and a couple of others tonight that they should get out on the weekend or during next week, because this as you said is the best time to watch them.

This happened way too fast!  Aura fledged (at night :o :o) and CBC cut the cam!  I'm so ticked with them... >:(

Sorry about your war-wound Tracy!  What a little spitfire!  The  Royal couple have cetainly done themsleves proud!  Four strong, healthy kids and one even starting to hunt, although let's hope that human hands will be replaced by prey with a little more meat... ::)

Now on to the sky-watching...when is the best time to wander downtown to see a little action?

Pam:
First, I have to say I voted for Kali, too....

We went for a walkabout after the get-together and at one point saw 5 birds.  We were able to (we think) confirm 2 females on a smokestack above the ....building between the Tavern and  the Boyd bldg (feel free to jump in here, Moonstar & Des!!).  Plus, we had two males on the top of the Rogers bldg at the same time.  The fifth was a fly-by and we did not see where he/she ended up.  All looked well!
