Manitoba Peregrines > Radisson Peregrines
Radisson - 2010 / Ivy & Princess
bcbird:
From yesterday, TPC:
Was more concerned about the feathered little demon munching on my extremities!!! Then she has the nerve to fly overhead and join her parents as they were harassing us!!! Insult to injury. Watch, she'll be the next killer Manitoba mama on a territory somewhere and y'all will be so proud of her and I'll still have twinges from the wounds ....
She does seem to suit the name Kali.
The Peregrine Chick:
1145 hrs (local) - Bccs called in to let me know that Ivy's been hanging out on the Manitoba Hydro building sign watching over the nestsite. Two of the kids are still very evident, particularly when Dad turned up with some fine dining ... actually, it was more like a delivery order, he turned up, the kids ran him down for the food and he bolted, better part of valour and all that. Think it might be the females, the chicks are about the same size and doing alot of "playing" with one another, something the girls did alot of in the box. They also watched one of the kids, but no idea who or of what gender, chasing a swallow ... given that Loki was being dive-bombed by swallows for a big chunk of his fledging day, my bet is on him getting his own back!!
GCG:
:) Good morning all! Morning Royals, wherever you are. I hope you are putting on a great aerial show for those downtown.
TPC, how are your thumbs? I just cannot imagine the pain you were and are in. Hard to do anything without the use of your thumbs. ::)
I hope we get some new updates and pictures from someone who has a camera with a long range lens....uhhh, Dennis? ???
bccs:
Debc52 and I are meeting up around 9am in the parking lot behind the St. Regis hotel.
The more, the merrier, so y'all feel free to join in.
The Peregrine Chick:
