Pam:
Didn't see much today, actually.  One juvie on the Rogers sign (north side), then he/she moved up to the top of the building.  That was about it!

GCG:
:) Good day forum! So very glad to see your post Kinderchick. This is very a need to know! Is it possible that our Radisson Royals are about to leave us early?  :( Has anyone seen them downtown?  ??? Look forward to posts from all who have made this year possible for those of us who have only been able to log on to this site. If I haven't said it before, "THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR BEING OUR EYES"! You know who I am speaking to.  :-* GCG

The Peregrine Chick:
It could have been Radisson chicks, not really all that far away as the peregrine flys and not that far away from the water treatment plants which have lagoons our birds like to hunt over, particularly the young ones.  However, it could have been other raptor species - Coopers Hawks, Broad-winged Hawks or even Goshawks, all of which we have in the City and all of which like open spaces and the river.

Kinderchick:
Had an appt. in downtown Winnipeg this morning. Spotted one of the birds on the south east corner of the Rogers Bldg. but didn't have my binocs with me, so I'm not sure if it was a juvie or a parent. :-\ Still, great to see him/her. :D

Also, when returning home around 2:00 PM, I spotted 2 birds soaring and then swooping high in the sky near Lagimodiere & Concordia. They sure did look like peregrine falcons. Could this be so, TPC, or do you think they were red tailed hawks? ??? Whenever I have spotted a hawk, it is usually alone and the thing that caused me to notice these 2 birds was that they were flying higher than I have ever seen a hawk and they were clearly together. 8) Could they have been any of our peregrines?  :-\

Mother Hen:
See one of the babies on the letter D too small for Princess and not Ivy.....West side
