0925 hrs (local) - looks like one of the adults (breast looks too bright) on the last "a" in the east-side Manitoba Hydro sign ... a second bird, can't tell adult or chick but looks large enough to be a female - so maybe Princess or Isis-Kali below and the to the left (south) of the sign - there is a ledge where the stone (pale coloured) meets the dark brown/black where the sign is attached - its broad/deep enough that the birds can walk around and eat on it ...



This is at the max range of the zoom function of the skycam and the light is not cooperating ...

luckly me, i leave for work after bccs, and the rain had stopped.

I did see one birdie leave the Rogers building and was doing some flying around.

No birdies this morning. Ya wanna know why??
Well seems that the powers that be decided to give us a little thunderstorm this morning.
I am soaking wet from head to foot. The brand new umbrella decided to break, and to add insult to injury, it also started to leak. The puddles are massive, I had to go through one that came up to my ankles.
So here I sit at work, looking as if I just stepped out of the shower and put on clothes right out of the washing machine.
Let me tell y'all, not a pretty sight and my mood is not much better than that.

I forgot to post.  Yesterday around 6:00 pm i saw 1 flying above the radisson towards main street ... just circling.  I didn't see anyone else

No birdies to be seen today, but one ( Isis ) was very vocal

yesterday on my drive thru downtown (around 5) to EK, I was at a light and of course looking towards the Raddison and saw 4 birds flying above the raddison.  It looked like they were playing tag and it looked like a talon touching between 2.  I was on Main St so I do not know if it was the 4 kids or if any were the parents.  I was quite excited because this is the first time I have sited them on a drive thru downtown.  And then the light changed and I had to go.

It's so unbelievably hot here.    Even the peregrines are laying low.
