Radisson - 2010 / Ivy & Princess

<< < (95/999) > >>

The Peregrine Chick:
Both of them will probably be around and occasionally visible until October so long as the weather holds.  Both of them have hung around that long in previous years.  Princess has left early a couple of times, leaving Trey to tidy up and close the doors behind him.

allikat:
However, this is a new pair this year...Yes, this has been Princess' territory for years but she has a new partner.  Don't really know how long Ivy and/or Princess will stay.  One typically leaves before the other as far as I understand from the photo gallery.  We really won't know until we know.  As for the kids....again, only from reading and looking through the gallery, they are gone before the parents.  Where they go....only the falcons know!   ;D

susha:
Thanks Allikat!  That means they'll still be here when I get back from TO ;D

Do the young'uns stick around as well?

allikat:
Susha...the birds (meaning the resident pair) have been known to stay until early October.   ;D

--- Quote from: bccs on August 14, 2010, 05:49 ---Nope, didn't go home, just would have gotten wet all over again. I was the cause of a lot of laughter at work, so I suppose it had it's upside. ::)
And never did completely dry off.

But seeing our girl on the ledge, well it was worth staying for the day, wet or not. ;D ;D
She was there for over half an hour before I left for the day and was still there when I left.

Lifting the spirits of colleagues is a definite upside of misfortunes that can befall us!  I am very familiar with said experience ::) :P ::) and I completely concur :)

And then seeing Princess, well...can there be any way to make up for being a little soggy?!

How long will these guys be around, do ya think?  That's probably been asked and my feeble brain has forgotten the answer :-[
