Yep, tomorrow is a new day and ...coincidently it's the 31st...the perfect day for Trey to make an appearance.   :)

Well, we can all speculate and debate till the sun sets. But I believe TPC summed it up very succinctly,
"we just have to wait and see."
Works for me.

The Peregrine Chick:

--- Quote from: msdolittle on March 30, 2010, 17:03 ---sure .. he's gotten a little action in the West, but hasn't produced any offspring has he?
--- End quote ---

To be fair to the guy, his lady friends chose locations that suck - same location, both times.  Eggs lost for exactly the same reason at pretty much exactly the same time during incubation.  Young birds often have to figure out what goes where (eggs under for incubation, adult stays on eggs during incubation being the biggest) and are often not successful their first time out.  Doorly and Hope down in Topeka have stuck it out for years - Doorly destroyed the first 3 or 4 years worth of eggs, they tried to remove him but didn't in time and Hope managed to save one chick and he took to fatherhood like a duck to water.  Last year they did very well together.  Peregrine see, peregrine do.  Its possible that Trey is a good dad because Madame was a good role model.  Madame was a good mom because T-Rex was a kick-butt foster-dad.  Princess could be a good mom because Trey was an experienced dad.  Ivy could become a good dad because Princess is an experieneced mom.

Its all speculation however until such time as their is an egg somewhere.
