Well I am depressed :'(- Not too adept at change especially when sentiment & tradition are involved (Was upset when Troy Westwood got the boot...lol...) - bot - I would be sad to see Trey replaced - still hoping!!!... Hurry up Trey!!!! :-\
The Peregrine Chick:
1530 hrs - someone is on the J of the JR sign - by size, Princess. First time I've seen her there in days!

Oh, and Dennis has more photos - 371 I believe - most he won't post, some he will ... he was off to do errands so y'all will have to wait abit ;)
The Peregrine Chick:
Princess was the one on the tower for a very long time ... looks like Ivy is the one popping in and out of the nestbox. And what is he doing in that box you ask? Making one yo-honking size scrape in the back undercover. Its a very excellent scrape I must say. Surprised though, this is the boy who wouldn't use the nestboxes provided in West Winnipeg, nice gravel and everything, but come downtown and whiz-bang, he figures out what the gravel is for ::) Dope.
So what do I think will happen, looks at this point like Princess and Ivy are going to give it a shot, but its early days and Trey did turn up this time in 2009. Technically we could wait another month without problems (we've done it before) but I'm not sure the peregrines will wait.
Now before everyone gets depressed, while Dennis and I were visiting with Jules after we visited with Princess & Ivy, we notice a dozen raptors working their way north and northwest over us in a 5 minute period. Who knows, its a quiet, not cold, virtually windless (for birds) day and its ahead of rainy weather. We'll just have to wait and watch. Long weekends are usually good for somekind of excitement I've found - Victoria Day for hatchings, July 4th for bandings or sometimes even fledgings ...
