I agree bccs. At least one needs to hatch this weekend. I want my granddaughter to see a little white ball of fluff and a feeding. But I guess they will hatch when they are ready and we just can't will them to hatch when we want them to.
I can't tell who is sitting on the eggs but they are right down on them. Doesn't that mean there is nothing happening in the eggs yet as far as hatching goes?

It would be nice to think that they do nestle, as we tend to humanize them at times, but, they don't nestle, they don't cuddle, the don't say goodnight to each other, they don't make coffee in the morning, they are here to continue their species.
Yes they do pair bond, but as we have learned, especially this year, pair bonding does change. And with this change, we as humans must take a step back, learn/realize that it's not about humans, not about our emotions, not about what we want, it's all about the falcons.

I think that you may have misunderstood the nature of my question last evening, allikat. ::) I was not asking the question because I was "humanizing" the peregrines. I was asking the question because I cannot see into the nestbox at night and wondered where each of our peregrines spend the night. And I'm sure that I am not the only webcam watcher who has wondered that. The Kinderchicklets may tend to "humanize" the peregrines because they are children and that is the nature of young children. But I do not "humanize" peregrine falcons. I do understand that they are raptors who's instinctual nature is to hunt and procreate. ;)
