I've be checking the video from earliery today and the eggs are all intact and Princess and Ivy are switching off as per normal.  Don't know if we'll have a hatch today but all is well so far ...

Hi folks, I am usually just an interloper, watching the birds and learning from your posts.

I have a question today though.  The movements of the webcam seem jerky as though they are frame by frame shots.  Is this just the way the birds are moving or is there some technical explanation re the kind of camera being used, the lens, etc.?

Thanks in advance for any explanations.
there's some sort of an issue with the www, not the cameras, not your computer Alex.
CBC is narrowing it down and with luck, it will be fixed soon.
And welcome to the forum :)

Interesting that she is so antsy while Ivy was calm.  Obviously a more experienced parent.
Won't Ivy be surprised, since he seems not to have a clue that anything is about to happen!

Hehe..no doubt he will be in for a surprise.  I am really excited and happy for Ivy - it's time he became a dad and I'm wishing the same for Jules being a mom as well.

My feed is jerky but Princess sure looks like she's listening to those eggs! She's been looking at them, listening to them and just now, sat back down...  :o :o :o

More restless behavior - staring right at eggs now.  More shuggling and back down on eggs.  And up and around...and back down.
