This is awesome news, TPC -- I'm not a bit surprised the "stuffing under" has ended -- I have a mental picture of Princess or Ivy perched high atop the chickpile! Good to know there are only a couple more days to worry about the thermoregulation bit. I miss watching them at work, but can hardly wait to get home and check out the cam! Those ungainly little critters are pretty hard to resist.

1040 hrs (local) - oh my gawd,  :o these chicks are getting fed every hour!!!  They won't fit in the box in another couple of weeks, by the time they are ready to fledge they will be so heavy the building will be groaning and swaying under the weight of their behemoth little bodies!!!  ;D

The kids are growing up  :'( 

Princess and Ivy aren't "stuffing them under" anymore ... or at least not for today, guess we will have to see what happens if/when it starts to rain again.  Couple more days and all of the chicks will be past the thermoregulation hump and should be out of danger from the weather, particularly at this nestsite.

It seems we have four little piggies!  It's so great to see four healthy, growing-like-weeds chicks.

7:55 and the feeding is happening right now. The little guy is too busy looking around and cleaning his fluff! He/She has to push his way in there and not hold back... They are sooooo cute!
