Well now, Allikat and I went on a hunt today looking for birdies. And boy oh boy, we were rewarded.
Going east along Portage Ave., near the Radisson, Alli noticed two birds catching thermals. I stopped the car, got out, and thought that the birds were too big for peregrines.
We watched a bit more, they went behind a building and all of a sudden, a bunch of pigeons were flying around like mad. Sure enough, a peregrine went into a stoop and was going to get himself a snack.

We went to the famous parking lot and sure enough there was Ty eating his capture. She, much larger no question about that, was circling, landed on a letter of the building, flew off, annoyed the mighty hunter with her pestering and finally flew off.
He posed, omg, what a handsome, beautiful bird. So very much like Trey, sleek and lean. Not like Ivy, other than the black cap. Ivy is more compact and fuller than Ty.
We watched and watched, I took some pictures with Alli's camera, she just soaked up the sight of Ty.
I'm so very glad that Alli was able to see these birds, first time in over a year for her. Great spotting, you still have it my friend.
