  Good morning Radisson Royals. Good morning forum. In the nestbox, just at the right of the opening, I see a bit of a silhouette. These days you cannot tell if it is Princess or one of the females. In case it is Ivy, "Happy Father's Day". I will just wait until day break.

Nope, I don't think you are confused, gemcity, I think you are right. TPC will straighten the dates out.

This is the first time this nesting season that I have logged onto the forum.  I have been watching the chicks growing very quickly.  
Today, though, I wanted to register a small complaint.  Just a few minutes ago, some lady with a feather boa sat down in front of the camera and blocked my view of the nest box.  I almost tapped my computer screen...'scuse me lady, I'm trying to watch the "movie."  LOL

LOL, blue_eyes! You are absolutely right! That "lady" with the fluffy white feather boa seems to be blocking our webcam view on more than one occasion! In fact, I think it might be more than one "lady" doing that!

Thanks for the lovely pics Dennis. There is a great one of TPC smiling benignly at an obviously furious ball of fluff, talons and beak that I had to steal for my desktop. It's priceless!

I was up earlier & didn't have time to post. . . . about 6:30 the chicks were having breakfast right in front of the camera. One was discovering the art of using talons to hold the food down while flapping wings to balance. He/she soon discovered that vigorous flapping while eating results in a face plant.

One chick doing some wingersizing near the nestbox ledge.  The others seem to be near the camera. I guess they got used to being at the back of the nestbox trying to keep dry, with all of the rain we've had the past few days. Nice and sunny outside now, here in Winnipeg.
