I've noticed all those dark feathers as well and wondered about how close they are to fledging. I can't remember, TPC, if it's the girls who fledge first because they're bigger and stronger or if it's the boys becasue they don't have as much weight to get aloft... ???

:) I see the chicks are in a resting mode. After the last couple of days in their wind tunnel, they certainly deserve it. I haven't seen Princess or Ivy today. Although when one does arrive, you wouldn't be able to see them anyway when the chicks stand up as a group. :)
