Great news about Isis from you fledge watchers. Guess I should have gotten up a bit earlier to day to go take a look. Hope I can be there when Aura takes her first flight! Great work everyone, keeping the rest of us informed. At least I did get to see Loki up close. What a treat! Take care everyone.

Yahoooooo, Isis has now fledged !!!!!!!!
What a morning for flying. The boys are doing so very well, taking off, soaring and landing.
They were having fun, swooping around each other in the sky. They flew back and forth from nest to ledge to building to the Radisson roof , to the hydro tower, back to the Rad and it just kept going. One even landed on the green swoosh, nice as can be. The other, believe it or not landed on one of the dishes on the Rogers roof.
Isis kept watching her brothers and finally after about 20 minutes of seeing her brothers having a great time, off she went, very little flapping, great height and a very smooth landing on the same dish as her brother. We couldn't believe it. First flight and the landing was picture perfect, and on a dish no less :o.
The weather is wonderful, very little wind, just perfect for learning to fly.
Aura is still in the nestbox, starting to flap a wee bit, but this is the first time I've seen her take any interest in what the others are doing.
Des and msdolittle are still on the street watching the kids.
