TPC, I have a question for you.  Today mom was on the ledge by herself echupping to herself...quite loudly.  This went on for about 15 minutes and I was kind of puzzled as she usually only echups to her mate when he is around.  As the cams don't have sound save for a very few, I've only ever heard them echup when there are two of them.

Does it have any meaning do you think?

allikat:
This is so interesting..I'm curious to find out more.  Thanks Carly for the update!

Alison:
Thank you for the update, Carly! I wonder what will happen here.

Lara and Rocky's four chicks are ready to fledge any time now, and they are beautiful.

9:15 am and Jack was just on the ADP sign - his other perch when he's home.

Not sure what's going on Alison or what to make of it.  Maybe now that he's established a bond with the TR female  - he will go back and forth?  This is the third day in a row I've spotted him, but it's been a once a day kind of thing.  It's possible he was here before that and I just missed it as he doesn't seem to stick around long.

I will see if he and Angel rebond once the young are gone.  Last year they rebonded in late September/October as the kids were still here until mid September.

This is all new for me but the good thing is I work at the site so I will be able to see what happens and document it.  Stay tuned!

Alison:
Since Jack was apparently at the Toronto Residential site two days ago, does this mean he is continuing to try to hold two territories?
