Hiding email address

Hi gramma! I have also wondered about this. I am a "newbie", as well and whenever I check my own profile, I can see my own e-mail address, but most others are hidden. I have checked off the box that says "hidden from public". Have you checked off that box in your own profile? I will take a look at your profile and see if I can see your e-mail address. Will you do the same for me? Maybe we "newbies" can actually help each other!

Yeah, I sent you a private message and it says it is hidden. I figured I had better state in in here in case you couldn't figure out how to get to the private messages.

gramma, i just looked and it shows that your email is hidden.

I have been trying to hide my email address and have been unable to do so.  Every time I check my profile, it's still there for all to see.  Others seem to say hidden. Any help would be much appreciated.
